Then for the main movie\, we will be watching Parasite! This movie starts off when Ki-Woo who is from a poor family in Seoul\, starts working for a wealthy family. I won’t spoil it any further\, but it’s safe to say that it will be full of suspense with some interesting twists\, with its themes around class and greed. It also boosts some great cinematography filled with symbolism\, for which it won best picture in 2019 at the Oscars. So be sure to come and have a great break enjoying this amazing piece of cinema!

DESCRIPTION:Last year we had the first edition of the video basic course. It was a great success\, so this year we will repeat it! It will take place on march 8th\, 15th and 22nd from 19:00 until 22:00. During three Wednesday evenings we will go over various important topics of video making. You will learn about the technical basics such as shutter speed\, ISO\, focussing and aperture\, and we will discuss the pre-production stages of a project\, such as storyboarding\, scouting a location and creating a style for you video. Of course we cannot do a video workshop without considering cinematography and audio\, where we will go over camera movement\, composition\, lighting and sound design to name a few of the topics. DESCRIPTION:On the 21st of March we will organize a photo speeddate activity. For this activity you need to subscribe and submit 5 photos in order to participate. These photos will be printed and handed out to you at the activity. During the activity you will sit opposite to another member where you will talk together about your photos. We then will shuffle a few times. So\, upload some photos which you think are interesting to talk about. SUMMARY:Videography Basic Course Part 2 (public event)
DESCRIPTION:Last year we had the first edition of the video basic course. It was a great success\, so this year we will repeat it! It will take place on march 8th\, 15th and 22nd from 19:00 until 22:00. During three Wednesday evenings we will go over various important topics of video making. You will learn about the technical basics such as shutter speed\, ISO\, focussing and aperture\, and we will discuss the pre-production stages of a project\, such as storyboarding\, scouting a location and creating a style for you video. Of course we cannot do a video workshop without considering cinematography and audio\, where we will go over camera movement\, composition\, lighting and sound design to name a few of the topics. As not all of us are able to afford a fully rigged out cinema camera\, we will also give you some practical tips on how to get the result you want on a budget. Sign-up here!

SUMMARY:Studio workshop (members only)
DESCRIPTION:Tuesday the 14th we will give this year’s first studio workshop! During this workshop\, you will learn how to properly use our studio and its equipment. We will teach you how to use flashlights\, umbrellas\, triggers and some possibilities on how to light the studio. As you might know\, the studio can also be rented by members for personal use. Before you are allowed to have access to the studio\, you must complete the Studio Workshop and you must have paid the studio renting deposit. NOTE: Studio workshops will take place not more then twice a year and it’s necessary to gain access to the studio for personal use. SUMMARY:Photography as a supporting medium
DESCRIPTION:We all know and understand photography as an art on its own. But how can it be used to complement other art? In this activity we will explore this by taking and finding images that enhance another artistic production\, more specifically a play. We will have a few scenes from the lunafest collaboration ‘Journey’\, and we will try to create a set of projections that help convey the feelings and actions happening on stage. Join for a creative challenge and the opportunity to think about pictures in a different light!
